Day 2 Arrive Malaga, Spain - Torremolinos Welcome to the renowned Costa del Sol. With its Mediterranean coastline, the Costa del Sol is one of the most popular destinations in Spain. See the azure waters of the Mediterranean Sea and the breathtaking scenery of the Andalusian coast. Enjoy the sun-drenched beaches, vibrant culture, and spectacular sights. Upon arrival in Malaga, you'll be greeted by your tour host and transferred to your first-class hotel in Torremolinos, one of Spain's most sophisticated beachfront towns. Day 3 Torremolinos - Ronda Tour  After breakfast, enjoy a full-day tour to explore the beautiful mountainous region of Ronda. See the Church of the Holy Spirit built in 1485, and the Puente Nuevo Bridge, a stunning 18th-century structure. Then stop at the Wine Museum and learn about the process of producing organic wines while enjoying a tasting. Discover local culture by visiting the Plaza de Espana, the Cathedral Church of Our Lady of the Incarnation, and the Plaza de Toros. Enjoy a scenic cruise across the Mediterranean Sea and explore Tangier's by touring its modern section, including the breathtaking Cape Spartel, the northwesternmost point of Africa. Then, after an included lunch, you take a guided walking tour of the old town and the Casbah, full of colorful market stalls and meandering streets of shopping treasures! Day 6 Torremolinos- Seville Tour After breakfast at the hotel, take a full-day tour to discover the vibrant city of Seville! You will explore Seville, Spain's fourth largest city and the capital of the Andalucía region, where Columbus docked upon returning from America. Visit the 15th-century Cathedral to marvel at the striking minaret, the slenderest tower in Muslim architecture, and the Giralda bell tower from the 16th century. Don't miss the Alcazar Palace, completed by Peter the First and recognized for its Mudejar style. Then join our Cultural Discovery Series at the interactive Flamenco Dance Museum to learn about the art and evolution of this classical dance. Later you explore Maria Luisa Park's meticulous gardens and stroll through the district of Santa Cruz before returning to Torremolinos. (B,D)

 

Day 7 Torremolinos After breakfast, enjoy your day at your own pace. Play a round or two of golf, head out to experience a flamenco show, relax at the hotel spa, enjoy some last-minute shopping, or take an optional tour of Granada. Take advantage of this amazing tour as you are guided through the Alhambra Palace and its 13th to 15th-century architecture. Your local specialized guide will show you the magnificent Moorish architecture at the renowned Alhambra palace-fortress complex. See the Nasrid Palace and view magnificent Islamic art, the Torres de la Velas fortress, the Generalife Palace with its beautiful gardens, and the Carlos V Palace, designed in 1526 by Pedro Machuca as a symbol of power. Day 8 Torremolinos After breakfast, enjoy today at leisure to relax by reading a book on the beach or taking an optional tour to Mijas. Experience the beauty and culture of one of the most picturesque villages in Andalucía. Today experience Mijas with its iconic postcard-perfect, white-washed houses, charming village square, quaint cobblestone streets, and the Sierra de Mijas rolling hills. Day 9 Torremolinos to the USA or extend your stay with an optional extension to Madrid After breakfast, you will be transferred to Malaga airport for your return flight to the USA. (B)

Day 9 Malaga - Madrid After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Madrid. Upon arrival, you will be met by our tour director and transferred to your hotel. Welcome to Madrid. Madrid, the capital of Spain, is a vibrant and exciting city with a rich cultural heritage. Madrid has something for everyone, from stunning architecture to lively nightlife. Whether you're looking to explore its culture, indulge in its culinary delights, or experience the energy of its bustling streets, Madrid is the perfect destination. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore on your own. (B)

 

Day 10 Madrid - City Tour After breakfast, you will experience the best of Madrid with a City Tour! Our knowledgeable guides will lead you through the streets of Spain's vibrant capital and visit the spectacular Royal Palace to discover the history and legacy of the Spanish royal family as you explore the Palace's many chambers. Then see the magnificent fountains of Neptune and Cibeles, the Alcala Gate, and the Plaza de España, to name a few sites. The rest of the day is leisurely for some shopping, a visit to the Prado Museum to explore the vast collection of artwork and exhibitions or a stroll through Retiro Park's gardens. Tonight, relax and enjoy your last night in Madrid.  (B)

 

Day 11 Madrid to the USA After breakfast, you will be transferred to Madrid airport for your return flight to the USA. (B)
