Day 2 Arrive Dubai Once you land in Dubai, you'll be met by our local host and taken to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure and explore Dubai's Arabian adventure! Welcome to Dubai, one of the most attractive and popular destinations in the world, with its unique mix of old-world charm and cosmopolitan flair. From its humble beginnings as a tiny fishing village, Dubai has blossomed into a sophisticated city renowned for its sunshine, shopping, seaside, sports, and safety. Day 3 Dubai - City Tour and Burj Khalifa Tower Start your fascinating and cosmopolitan tour of Dubai by visiting the magnificent Jumeirah Mosque – an iconic example of modern architecture. Then take in the sights at the Palastquater "Zabeel" and Skyline at the Dubai Creek and explore the wind-towered houses of old merchants at Bastakiya. Don't miss the opportunity to visit the traditional houses in the Al Fahidi district, before crossing the Dubai Creek with an "Abra" (water taxi) to experience the vibrant and colorful Spice Souk and Gold Souk to find a variety of spices, incense, and gold. Whether you're looking for saffron, frankincense, or jewelry, the Spice Souk and Gold Souk in Dubai offer something for everyone. Afterward, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before a visit to the Burj Khalifa Tower. The Burj Khalifa Tower is the world's tallest building and the jewel of Dubai. At an impressive height of 2,722 feet, this architectural masterpiece is a sight to behold. You will witness the grandeur of the Burj Khalifa Tower, taking in its sheer size and beauty. Day 4 Dubai After breakfast, relax in the sun by the pool, enjoy an independent adventure, or head out for an optional half-day Palm Island Tour. From its stunning resorts and residential developments to its awe-inspiring marine life, Palm Island offers an incredible lifestyle of opulence and extravagance. Day 5 Dubai - Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi was once a lonely fort surrounded by modest date palm huts. Today magnificent skyscrapers and shimmering glass facades abound everywhere, mixed with parks and gardens that help maintain Abu Dhabi's reputation as one of the region's greenest cities. Visit the majestic Sheikh Zayed Mosque, the third-largest Mosque in the world. Then drive on Al Maqta Bridge and pass by Ministries Area, the wealthiest area in the city with impressive and grand villas. Then see the old dhow harbor, followed by a photo stop at the Emirate Palace Hotel, the most expensive hotel ever built. After lunch in a local restaurant, you drive along the scenic Corniche and the Al Bateen Palace area before returning to Dubai. Along the way, you will also pass by Jebel Ali, the largest manufactured port in the world. (B,L)
Day 6 Dubai - Desert Safari Enjoy a morning of leisure or activity on the world's biggest indoor ski slope, or head to a local souk to shop. Or take the optional half-day tour to Sharjah, the "Pearl of the Gulf." Visit UNESCO-recognized cultural sites, spectacular ancient architecture, markets, and souks of Sharjah. See King Faisal Mosque, the largest in the UAE, and explore the Civilization Museum and the 150-year-old Al Nabooda House. Shop for jewelry, fabrics, antiques, carpets, and collectibles at Al Arsa Souk. This afternoon, once back in Dubai, experience the Arabian desert's magic with a thrilling Desert Jeep Safari! Feel the excitement as you navigate the sand dunes with an expert driver and witness an incredible Arabian sunset. Upon reaching the Bedouin encampment, you will experience a delicious barbeque dinner, mesmerizing belly dancing, and classical Arabian music in the heart of the desert. (B,D)
Day 7 Dubai Today enjoy a full day at leisure to relax by exploring the vibrant local culture and the beautiful sandy beaches, sample the delicious local cuisine, or revel in the unique shopping experiences. Or you could take an optional East Coast tour. This full-day tour will take you through various landscapes within the Emirates, including the desert, wadis, mountains, and the sea, and will expose you to some very lush agricultural areas, local markets, and fishing villages. The stops en-route include the old village of Dibba, once a strategically important settlement with a stunning view across the Indian Ocean, and the Al Badiya Mosque, the oldest mosque in the country. After lunch in a local restaurant, we visit the port towns of Khor Fakkan and the 300-year-old Fort of Fujairah before returning to Dubai. (B)
Day 8 Dubai Full day at leisure to relax or to explore Dubai on your own. For your comfort, a day room is reserved until you depart for the airport. As your journey to Dubai ends, it's time to say goodbye to this incredible city. From the stunning architecture to the delicious cuisine, you've had a memorable experience you'll never forget. From the bustling souks to the beautiful beaches, there's something special about Dubai that you won't find anywhere else. It's time to bid farewell and take home lasting memories of the city.
