Day 1 Depart USA Depart the USA on an overnight flight to Paris to begin your splendid experience in France. Meals and refreshments are served on board.


Day 2 Arrive in Paris Welcome to Paris, the “City of Light.” After clearing customs and immigration, you will be met by your Quest Voyager representative. You will then travel to your 5-star, deluxe river boat, your floating home, for the next seven nights. As you step aboard the elegant boat, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome cocktail, setting the stage for the sophisticated adventure ahead. This evening enjoy a meticulously prepared dinner under the shimmering city lights as night falls. (D)


Day 3 Conflans This morning, we arrived in Conflans-Sainte- Honorine, which is located at the confluence of the Oise and Seine rivers. Join a guided tour of the quaint town of Auvers-sur-Oise, a charming French village with narrow streets and shuttered homes fragrant with roses. It’s easy to see why this town inspired many Impressionist masters, including Cézanne, Pissarro, and Daubigny. Visit Vincent van Gogh’s final resting place here, immersed in the life and legacy of this extraordinary artist. Then, visit Château d’Auvers, built in the 17th century and immortalized by Van Gogh in his paintings. (B,L,D)


Day 4 Rouen As the historical capital of Normandy and a prosperous medieval city, Rouen is known for its architectural treasures. The historic city center is a must-see. Start the morning with a walking tour, including an inside visit to the magnificent Cathedral that inspired Claude Monet and the modern Church of Joan of Arc with its splendid 16th-century stained-glass windows. Our local expert will highlight the city’s historical legacy, which was influenced by figures such as the Vikings, the Dukes of Normandy, Joan of Arc, and artists like Géricault and Monet. Don’t miss the Gros Horloge, an astronomical clock that is the pride of Rouen, and the Parliament of Normandy, one of France’s rare civil constructions in Gothic style from the late Middle Ages. Afterwards spend some free time maybe exploring the “Place du Vieux Marché,” where Joan of Arc was burnt at the stake. (B,L,D)


Day 5 Le Havre Today, enjoy a tour through the picturesque city of Honfleur. Known as a town of painters and a center of Impressionism,this gorgeous maritime city captivates with its history and beauty. Your guide will lead you through its narrow streets, steeped in the legacy of sailors, painters, artists, and musicians. Visit the world- famous old port and see the Lieutenancy building, from which Samuel de Champlain set out to discover Canada. After lunch onboard, head on an Early Bird Discount tour to Étretat, renowned for its coastal scenery, particularly its white cliffs. Begin with stunning views of the cliffs and rock formations, then continue with a guided walking tour of the town. Experience this quaint fishing village and discover why Étretat was a favorite of famous artists and authors like Monet, Maupassant, Victor Hugo, and Flaubert. (B,L,D)


Day 6 Le Havre - Omaha Beach - Arromanches - Pointe du Hoc - Caudebec-en-Caux Join a full-day tour exploring key sites of World War II’s D-Day landings. Begin in Giberville before venturing to the rugged cliffs of Pointe du Hoc, where the remains of German fortifications are still visible, bearing silent testimony to the fierce battle fought here. Continue to Omaha Beach, where the tides of history turned on June 6, 1944, allowing for moments of reflection on the bravery of the Allied forces. Pay your respects at the American Cemetery, dedicated to honoring the thousands who sacrificed their lives for freedom. Afterward, enjoy lunch before visiting the Arromanches museum to learn about the ingenious design & deployment of the Mulberry harbors, which were pivotal in the success of the Normandy landings. Conclude your day with a scenic drive back to your boat in Caudebec-en-Caux. (B,L,D)


Day 7 Les Andelys - Vernon - Mantes-La-Jolie Begin the day with a visit to Château Gaillard, the stronghold built by Richard the Lionheart at the end of the 12th century on a limestone cliff overlooking the Seine. Enjoy stunning views of the river and surrounding countryside. Our expert tour guide will share stories of the castle’s construction and the imprisonment of Blanche and arguerite, the adulterous daughters-in-law of the king. Then, visit Giverny, the village that inspired Claude Monet. After seeing it from his train window, he decided to live and work here. Tour the rooms of his house, reflecting Monet’s personality, and then head back to the boat for lunch. The afternoon is yours to explore independently. (B,L,D)


Day 8 Paris “J’ai deux amours, mon pays et Paris,” sang Josephine Baker, about her two great loves: her country and Paris. This sentiment captures how most visitors feel when exploring the French capital, one of the world’s most romantic and fascinating cities. In the morning, your guide will introduce you to the daily life of Parisians and unveil all the secrets and marvels of the “City of Lights.” On our, you will see Paris’s most important monuments, including the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides, home to Napoleon’s tomb, the renowned Louvre Museum, the elegant Champs-Élysées, and the Jardin des Tuileries. You are free to explore further in the afternoon. There are endless activities and sights; let your imagination wander as you stroll through streets steeped in the memories of historical figures like Joan of Arc, Louis XIV, and Napoleon Bonaparte. Day 9 Paris to the USA or extend your stay with an optional Paris extension Disembark after breakfast onboard, taking with you memories of a lifetime set against the backdrop of France’s most beautiful scenery and vibrant history. (B)

Day 9 Paris Step off the MS Diamond and into the heart of Paris, where your expert Parisian tour director will guide you through a day filled with the city’s most iconic treasures. Begin with priority entrance to the legendary Eiffel Tower*, taking in sweeping views of the City of Light. Then, experience the awe-inspiring beauty of Notre Dame Cathedral as you explore its timeless grandeur. After some leisure time to enjoy a Parisian lunch at your own pace, your journey continues to the enchanting district of Montmartre. Stroll its charming, cobbled streets and follow in the footsteps of Europe’s greatest artists, from Picasso to Van Gogh, as you soak in its bohemian spirit and panoramic views. Conclude your unforgettable day with a smooth hotel check-in and time to unwind, filled with memories of a Paris you’ll never forget. *Please note: On select days, the Montparnasse Tower may be visited in place of the Eiffel Tower, offering stunning views of the Eiffel Tower and the city skyline. Alternatively, take an optional half-day tour to the opulent Palace of Versailles, an extraordinary UNESCO World Heritage Site and a remarkable 17th-century masterpiece. Day 11 Paris to the USA Today bid farewell to the city of love and enchantment as you transfer to Paris airport for your return flight home. Depart enriched with cherished memories of your captivating journey through France’s historical wonders, and the incomparable city of Paris. (B)
